The event in a nutshell

We were brought in by YouTube to deliver a premium watch party experience for The Game Awards — an all-night celebration of the best in gaming, streamed live from LA. The brief was to craft an unforgettable night for creators, industry insiders and VIPs in London, designed to connect seamlessly with the global broadcast.

Every detail of the guest journey

We sourced and secured the venue, transforming it into a fully themed space that celebrated gaming culture while still feeling high-end and exclusive. Working closely with Google’s security team, we managed all access control for a smooth and secure experience from arrival to departure. With the time difference in play we were effectively running a midnight-to-morning event.

Designed to wow

A step-and-repeat photo moment and a 360° glam cam gave guests a red-carpet welcome, while multiple LED screens — including a bespoke ceiling ribbon — brought the live show to life in every corner. We designed custom graphics giving the space its own visual identity while staying connected to the global stream, alongside a late-night menu and a Game Awards bingo game.

Connected to something bigger

A key moment was a live shout-out from London into the LA broadcast — a two-way connection that made the event feel part of something much bigger. We built bespoke streaming booths and customised creator setups so talent could react and connect live with their own audiences, with ticketing, accreditation, VIP travel and hotel concierge all handled by our team.
