Barclays’ It’s Happening Roadshow connects employees and business partners with emerging technologies like AI and cybersecurity. The event explores innovations shaping the banking sector. As a trusted AV supplier under Barclays’ five-year framework, Sparq secured the contract in 2023. Since then, we have delivered two roadshows, creating immersive and engaging experiences.

Seamless Execution on a Global Scale

In 2024, Sparq delivered events across eight Barclays campuses, engaging 17,500+ colleagues. Four UK locations and four international cities—Prague, Pune, Whippany, and New York—hosted the roadshow. We worked alongside Barclays’ in-house AV teams, upgrading production with PA systems, staging, lighting, cameras, and streaming equipment. Eight branded expo pods with 55” screens enhanced interaction. Our dedicated team, including an Account Manager, Event Producer, Project Manager, and three technicians, ensured smooth execution, managing logistics, vendors, and compliance.

Lasting Impact & The Road Ahead

The 2024 roadshow explored GenAI, digital transformation, data security, and cloud solutions. Keynote speeches, a tech expo, and hands-on engineering labs made it engaging and educational. The event’s success was measured on a desired attendee mark of 15,000 employees, with an actual figure of 17,500. This over-achieved target of 16% confirmed Sparq’s role in the 2025 roadshow, with planning already in progress.
