Ahead of the busy festive season, Debenhams gathered over 300 beauty counter sales managers for a three-day conference designed to showcase the newest fragrance launches from iconic brands including Gucci, YSL and Dior.

Immersive Learning with Cinematic Flair
Held at Jury’s Inn, Hinckley Island, the event offered a blend of product discovery, storytelling, and hands-on training. Working alongside Hippo Events, Sparq provided full technical production – transforming the space into an immersive brand experience.

A large LED videowall took centre stage, featuring everything from in-house designed graphics to dramatic brand trailers, delivering a high-impact, cinematic feel. Audio and lighting were carefully designed to enhance the storytelling and maintain energy throughout the sessions.

Engaging, Interactive, and Accessible
For the first time, Debenhams incorporated digital engagement tools, including live audience voting – helping delegates interact with sessions in real time and share feedback instantly. Meanwhile, our video team captured every moment, creating an edited suite of content for those unable to attend in person.
