Leeds Beckett University celebrated its largest graduation ceremony to date, welcoming 7,000 graduates and 35,000 guests over five days of inspiring ceremonies. Held at the university’s Headingley Campus at Frist Direct Arena, the event was a momentous occasion, marking the achievements of students across various degrees.

Delivering an Unforgettable Experience

Sparq provided full technical production, ensuring every detail was meticulously planned and executed. The stage setup featured a striking backdrop, high-quality lighting, and crystal-clear audio, delivering an immersive experience for graduates and guests alike. Live streaming, real-time captioning, and seamless media feeds ensured accessibility and wide-reaching engagement.

This year, additional enhancements were introduced to elevate the production further. Extra lighting was incorporated to enhance the academic procession and audience coverage, while a dedicated plinth was designed for the Mace, ensuring better camera visibility for the live stream. Sparq also provided a PA system and DJ booth at the Rose Bowl, ensuring celebrations continued throughout the event.

The 2024 Leeds Beckett Graduation was a resounding success, with fantastic feedback from the university and attendees alike.
